Deraj Beauty is led by Master Stylist and Educator Jared “DeRaj” Matthews.

Jared has been perfecting his skills as a stylist and educator for over two decades in the hair and beauty industry. Jared has worked as a stylist in New York, Atlanta, Miami and other sophisticated markets in the United States. Working in these diverse and demanding markets has given Jared the knowledge, experience, and drive to become one of the top stylists in the Charlotte, NC.

Jared’s love for hair and beauty is only second to his passion for helping others succeed through education. As an educator, Jared encourages and shares his expertise with students and other beauty professionals to help them reach their full potential in the beauty industry and reach their goals.

Jared believes sharing knowledge to help others grow and go get their dreams is one of the most rewarding things anyone can do.
